Egypt Inside Out travel

Safety and security

Before going to your vacation, please check your government’s advice on safety issues for their latest security travel information regarding the country you travel to. From our side we make every reasonable effort to ensure the best safety elements for all included activities but like anywhere in the world, major cities have some areas that might be unsafe, that for please be aware of your surroundings and keep always an eye on personal belongs. Although the cities visited on tour are generally safe during the day, there can be risks to wandering throughout some areas at night. It is recommended to stay in small groups and to take taxis especially in the late hours of night. Our tour leader will join you during all included activities but in your free time where you pursue your own interests you can always refer to tour leader for some safety advices but still you are completely responsible of your free time.

Also please note that your tour leader has the authority to cancel any part of the trip itinerary if it is necessary due to safety concerns for the rest of the group. Please note that any optional activities you undertake are not part of your itinerary, and we offer no representations about the safety of the activities even if it is arranged by our tour leader. We strongly recommend having a neck wallet or money belt while travelling, for safe keeping of your passport, air tickets, travellers’ cheques, cash and other valuable items. Also we recommend leaving your valuable jewellery at home. All of the hotels we use have free safety deposit boxes either at the hotel reception or at your own room, which is the most secure way of storing your valuables. A lock is recommended for securing your luggage. Water based activities like swimming, snorkelling or diving are always at your own risk. We recommend only participating in such activities when accompanied by a professional guide.
